Monday - Nix handed over 2 pennies she'd been given as change when she bought a sandwich. Working on the assumption that she didn't want those pennies so badly that she'd probably have thrown them away for me to find later, I thought they'd be fine to take.
Also on Monday, Alex walked into the office with a 20p he'd found by the lift.
Tuesday was quite a boon. First of all, Gemma gave me 8p that she claimed she'd never use, saying it had been sat there cluttering up her purse. Coppers are really unpopular - if you're having a bit of a lean month, why not try asking all your friends if they have any they don't want? In fact, it might even be a good idea to ask everyone you meet. You could be surprised.
Tuesday lunchtime, I went for a walk down Kensington High Street, and spotted a 1p in the mud around a tree growing out of the pavement. I came back from lunch to find a penny on the floor behind my chair.
Friday, I arrived into work to find 15p on my desk from my mystery benefactor. The rich get richer...
